START WITH SOUND CONCRETE

A repair can only be as strong as the material supporting it.

Loose, deteriorated and unsound concrete should be removed so the repair begins with a clean, properly prepared substrate.

Preparation exposes pores, irregularities and aggregate within the existing concrete and creates the surface needed for the repair system to establish its bond.

PRIME DEEP INTO THE SUBSTRATE

DX-1100 is applied to the prepared concrete before the repair material is placed.

Its low viscosity allows the primer to penetrate into pores and microscopic irregularities within the substrate.

Rather than creating only a surface film, the primer establishes a bonding foundation within the concrete.

ADD REAL AGGREGATE

Silica aggregate is incorporated into the resin and hardener mixture.

The amount can be adjusted depending on the thickness and geometry required for the repair.

The aggregate adds body to the system and allows the material to be built substantially thicker than a conventional coating.

The result behaves like a repair material—not simply a thick layer of epoxy.

BUILD IN THREE DIMENSIONS

Concrete damage isn’t two-dimensional.
